Coconuts on Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico

When styling for Melissa Leonette's East to West Music Video last August, the team got the chance to head down to Rosarito Beach for some downtime. Something we had to do was grab refreshing coconuts to sip on the beach. We got the coconuts for $4 a piece, and after finishing up the coconut water, we asked the vendor to cut the coconut in half and scoop out the coconut meat. It was a great way to stay hydrated and enjoy the beautiful beach. Note that hawkers will try to get you to sit down order margaritas, purchase souvenirs, or ride horses while on the beach. Have you been to Rosarito Beach?! A fresh coconut would be awesome right about now, while in Vietnam and Cambodia, they were being sold on every street corner; around these OC parts, not so much!
