Contouring & Highlighting with Swell Beauty

I'm so excited to wind down for a delicious and food coma inducing meal of unlimited kbbq with blogger babes Kimberly & Donna. Saturday started off with a jam packed schedule of a campaign shoot for the International Princess Project's PUNJAMMIES fall/winter collection, whom I also shot for last Saturday for some new PUNJAMMIES styles that are being released soon. And this evening, I'll be attending a Style Week OC Irvine Spectrum Center fashion show but first, I wanted to share this fabulous and easy make up look by Dee of Swell Beauty (she also did my make up for my blogger feature with OC Style Report). I came into Swell Beauty to serve as a sort of model for hair and make up artist extraordinaire Dee; she had a very unique and funky hairstyle that she wanted to try out on my multicolored hair, before doing so, she enhanced my facial features with highlighting and contouring. I've seen contouring tutorials on Pinterest and it always amazes me, so I was extra excited to have Dee contour my face, and with Anastasia Beverly Hills' Contour Kit no less. I arrived with natural make up applied: foundation, powder, eye liner,  and eye brows. Shawna of Bleudog Fotography shot the morning's festivities, she's so talented....love. See Dee's Flipagram of the tutorial here, and check out the products that Dee used to highlight and contour my face as well as finish my make up look:
1. Ardel Fashion Lashes #108 $3.49
2. MAC Highlighter- Creame Color Base in Pearl $21
3.Too Faced Bronzer Chocolate Soleil in Medium/Deep $30
4. Anastasia Contour Kit $40

7. Swell Beauty Lip Gloss in Mauve Glow $20

1. Apply the faux lashes (use a black eyelash glue to blend in with the eyeliner)
2. Use the Beauty Blender sponge to apply the creame highlight under the eye, above the cheeks, swiping up towards the temples
3. With the Stila brush, use the larger side with a darker powder of the contour palette and brush along the cheek bones, use the smaller brush to apply the same dark shade to apply down the sides of the nose and along the jawline. With the same smaller side of the brush, use a lighter powder of the contour palette to highlight down the center of the nose. Finish highlighting with the Bobbi Brown Eye Sweep brush and the same lighter shade from the contour kit applying and blending it all under the eye and into the top of the cheekbones. 4. Apply the Too Faced Bronzer along the cheekbones, and on the neck 5. Add a bit more of the MAC creame highlighter with the Beauty Blender sponge if you want more of an effect6. Apply the lip gloss, Dee used a lip brush for more precision 7. Spray the face with the Skindinavia Finishing spray to lock in the make up look!
