I met up with blogger gal pal Alyssa of Living in Style OC and we checked our the fashion and make up trends that will be really big this upcoming season. 2014 Fall Fashion Trends
Fifty Shades of Grey - The season's new neutral (which I love because I am a total 'grey' shade kind of girl)

Head to Toe Color - Full Spectrum of green and blue hues (also love this color palette and a great way to experiment with color)

World Traveler - Global melting pot of prints and textures (which gives an outfit so much life and energy, after traveling abroad, I definitely have a larger attraction to global prints/textures)

Under Wraps - Statement making outerwear (you can't go wrong with bold outerwear, just wish it was colder in so cal so that I could wear awesome outerwear all the time)

Luxe Sports (Women) / Sports Source (Men) - Athletic inspired pieces not intended for the gym (definitely have already jumped on this trend)

Trouser Trend - Stovepipe, slim, and wide leg for women (I need more trousers in my life, so easy to go from day to night with this trend), patterned pants for men

Wild Wild West (Women) / Urban Cowboy (Men) - jacket, boots, feathers, and fringe (you had me at all 4 of those things; OBSESSED with the western trend)

Winter Florals - Moody and romantic with dark backgrounds (this print may be a bit too moody for me, but I would totally wear it for a winter wedding as a chiffon maxi dress)

The Finishing Touch - Bold necklaces, the clutch, seasonless booties (yes, yes, and yes. You can't go wrong with all 3; so versatile)

Mad for Plaid (Men) - And checks, tweeds, and houndstooth (classic prints that any man can pull off)

I will tell you that I will try (if I haven't already, even though it's still summer) all these trends for the upcoming season; so autumn chic! Which of these trends are you drawn to?
