Mia Melon Granada Jacket + Kickstarter Campaign
So Cal needs more spring time rain so I can dance in the rain with my fashionable and functional Mia Melon Waterproof 'Granada' Jacket. I was thrilled to receive this jacket because I love the fresh, spring look with the light blue denim and antique gold hardware. I can cinch the side for a more defined waist, use the over sized hood to shield my entire head, and be protected from the elements especially rain and wind with Mia Melon's specially constructed coats and heat process treatment. For a lighter look, I paired the jacket with a lace dress and kept it simple; also can't wait to wear with floral prints.
Mia Melon will be launching a really excited and rich array of coats and outerwear for Fall 2014, help them expand and grow further by supporting their Kickstarter campaign (only 4 days left); which you can also see more info on the campaign, back the project, and read about how the jackets and coats are waterproof. Here's how I styled my Granada jacket:
Sunglasses, Borrowed
Lace Dress, Odylyne
Granada Jacket, Mia Melon
Handbag, H&M
Boots, Aldo
Mia Melon is a women's clothing label based in Vancouver, BC. In the Fall of 2011, we launched our weatherproof coats. Since then, demand has been growing 300% each season. Now is the time to listen to our customer and focus on what we do best! We have wholesale orders coming from some of the most influential boutiques across North America...however we need the financial resources to go into production and to start developing the next collection. Your pledge will ensure that Mia Melon's vision will become a reality. Pledges over and above the requested amount will go towards hiring more staff, and allowing our designer more resources to grow our dream. If all goes well, next season we will be able to expand our offerings and launch a men's fashion weatherproof coat collection.
