Shop | Scout's Honor, Irvine

New shop, Scout's Honor celebrated their grand opening at the Woodbury Town Center in Irvine, CA last Thursday. Owned by husband and wife team Mike and Sarah Dowdell, Scout's Honor is their second boutique concept (third storefront) which offers fashion, accessories and products by local So Cal designers and artisans. The Dowdells' mission is to support small local and upstart brands; which I appreciate and am so excited that they're operating out of Irvine which tends to have more of the 'cookie cutter' retail shops. Alongside the unique and high-quality products available in the boutique, Scout's Honor will also be introducing Etsy- and Pinterest-inspired craft classes as well as host styling classes with one of OC's top stylists, Leslie Christen. I had to admit to co-owner Sarah that I am terrible at keeping my motivation up to complete DIY projects, so Scout's Honor's craft classes will be great for me to stay on track and make great crafts.
I was also excited to find out that a portion of the evening's sales during the grand opening benefited Inspire Artistic Minds, yay for charitable shopping! I picked up this awesome Pendleton Woolen Mills Native American-inspired Print Beach Towel, can't wait to use it, especially since So Cal has been experiencing ridiculously hot weather.

GREAT NEWS! My friend Dylan and I will be filming a segment at Scout's Honor this upcoming Friday to feature Coachella and Spring/Summer trends! Can't wait, follow me on IG for photo updates!

Have you been to any new shops or boutiques lately?
Hope you all are having a great Wednesday, Happy Hump Day! I'll be heading to a Painting & Vino class in Newport Beach tonight!
