Mint & Lolly Style Series | Jewel Cake Necklace

A day well spent is a day by the ocean. Although I reside fairly close to major OC beaches; Laguna, Newport, and Huntington; the boyfriend and I decided to head down to La Jolla in San Diego on Friday. I don't know the area very well, but we were somewhere near La Jolla cove and I loved that the boardwalk was set higher up on the cliff side but very close to the water to see the waves crash.

After lunch and drinks at Jose's Courtroom, we soaked up a bit more sun and salty air then headed home via Pacific Coast Highway for the scenic route.
