5 Faves | Facial Cleansers

I've been testing out different cleansers for the last 8 months. I usually stick to one cleanser for 4-5 weeks to see the difference it makes with my skin. Have you tried any of these cleansers? What's your skin care regiment, any cleansers or washes you suggest? I'm trying out a new series on FFF, 5 Faves in skincare, beauty, and other products bi-monthly.
Here are my five current faves:
Clean & Clear's Morning Burst Hydrating Facial Cleanser:
From the energizing MORNING BURST® collection comes CLEAN & CLEAR® MORNING BURST® Hydrating Facial Cleanser. Wake your skin up with this invigorating foaming cleanser uniquely formulated with BURSTING BEADS® technology. It's formulated with water, not oil, and contains a unique blend of cucumber and green mango extracts. Get a deep clean while refreshing your skin with an added touch of moisture. Won't clog pores. *For All Skin Types.
I swoon over the cucumber and mango scent, it awakens my senses in the morning for a kick start to my day. It is advertised as a foaming cleanser, and it is just that. I like the quick foam action when I lather in my hands and a little pump goes a long way! Leaves my face looking radiant. Just need to try for a bit longer.

Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub:
'...powerfully clears blemishes and blackheads with maximum strength Salicylic Acid acne medicine plus an uplifting blast of grapefruit.
With 100% naturally derived grapefruit extract and vitamin C, Neutrogena® Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub features gentle microbeads that smooth away roughness without over-drying or irritating your skin.'

Also a great kick starter to my day with the intoxicating citrus scent; sometimes too overwhelming like walking into a Jamba Juice smoothie joint, the overwhelming smell of oranges. I love the micro beads that does great to scrub my skin, but I have to cut down on the exfoliation and salicylic acid use because my skin becomes more prone to break outs.

Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Pore Scrub:
'Gently scrubs away impurities and dull, dead skin cells that can build up in
pores to improve complexion for fresh, clear skin. Suitable for even acne prone
skin. Gentle enough for daily use. Won’t clog pores.'

This has been one of my all-time favorite cleansers, it smells like a rainforest instantly transporting me to a secluded waterfall and state of serenity. Fragrant, but light, and the micro beads are phenomenal, perfectly scrubs away impurities. I think I've been through 3 bottles of this since I first tried it. I like the concept of Neutrogena's Naturals line. I didn't break out from using this until I took a break from it to try another cleanser. So perhaps when I do use it, I should only use a few times a week to regulate the exfoliation of my skin.

Korres White Tea Facial Fluid Gel Cleanser
'Deeply cleanses and refreshes, without dehydrating the skin Formulated with vegetable derived soap substitutes, the White Tea fluid gel deeply cleanses and refreshes, without dehydrating the skin. While the gel is very easily rinsed off, yet the Oat proteins’ moisturizing layer remains on the skin.'

I was attracted to the idea of the cleanser being vegetable derived soap substitutes, I didn't see much difference in my skin except some hydration. It has a light scent and easy to use consistency. If you're looking for a mild cleanser that isn't packed with who knows what kind of ingredients, this is the way to go.

Salicylic Acid 2%/ Colloidal Sulfur 5% Acne Cleanser:
You might have seen my posts featuring the Skin Renaissance Medical Spa in Garden Grove, CA when I received a microdermabrasion and deluxe facial. I tried this SR Salicylic Acid and Colloidal Sulfur Acne Cleanser to help clear up my skin (my pores were insanely clogged) suggested by Nurse Jane. The scent is pleasant like a dish soap. I was advised by Jane that my skin would dry out the first couple weeks of using, so I made sure to use as directed, twice a day. And sure enough my skin dried out but followed with cleared up skin. Once treated, I started to cut down on the amount of use. It can be a bit too much of a liquid consistency for some, but it did not bother me; the cleanser still did the job. Contact Skin Renaissance if you're interested to know more about the product and if it can be sent to you!
