I got to cover the Orange County Great Park's
2013 Flights & Sounds Summer Festival this past Saturday night for the
Destination Irvine Blog. The festival located on the Terrace Lawn features a diverse line up of music artists throughout the entire month of August. I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time attending a community music event like this one, and it was really fun! There was a huge turnout with attendees of all ages, and a couple food trucks served up grub (although it would have been nice to have 3-4 more food trucks, the whole wait time for food was about an hour). I enjoyed chimichurri fries & pork sliders while sipping a classic Coca-Cola and watching/listening to reggae music against the backdrop of a sunset and the orange helium balloon. the line up then grab some chairs and blankets and head over to the OC Great Park on a Saturday night (this month) for the concert series! Here's what I wore:
