Hope everyone had a happy & firework-filled 4th of July! Today is the day that Americans celebrated the nation's Independence Day. Many clad in stars, stripes, red, white, and blue flooded the beach cities; but I went in the opposite direction and spent the day at friend Angel's home for a pool party BBQ. It was so lovely to spend time with Angel, her family, little girl Olivia and our high school friends! For the first time since summer started, I finally feel like I'm experiencing a
real summer; aside from getting to spend time consistently with friends that I hadn't seen in awhile I also got to embark on a shopping adventure with visiting Australian blogger friend Jacquii (
Couture Caddy) yesterday. That will surely end next week when I rehearse with my Dance the Magic parade performers and start teaching again, but at least I balanced my life out and cut down significantly on the amount of dance/fitness classes that I'm teaching (16 classes down to 4!). And on the upside, I'll be getting to take my 26 parade performers to Disneyland next Friday to dance down Main Street U.S.A.! On the note of Disneyland, I'm going tomorrow!
