Event | Luxe by Lisa Vogel & Gretchen Rossi Swimwear Collection @Swimspot

This past Thursday, I attended the launch of the Swimspot pop up shop and exclusive swimwear collaboration of Gretchen Rossi (of the Real Housewives of Orange County) & Lisa Vogel's Gretchen Christine for LUXE by Lisa Vogel at the Fashion Island Shopping Center in Newport Beach! Guests enjoyed food from Pita Jungle, Frostings Cupcakes, Chambord cocktails & champagne, shopping, a DJ, and photobooth! I chatted real quick with Gretchen about her swimwear line with Lisa and was excited to learn that:
-After seeing Lisa's swimwear models walk the runway with her (Gretchen) handbags during a fashion show at the St. Regis, she got connected with her and came to find out that they shared the same business views and passion for swimwear, and had to create a swimwear line together
-Rossi got inspiration from the barely there, mesh and blinged out body suits and costumes worn by music artists like Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears....remember this, this and this? And doesn't she look amazing in the end result?
-We ended the conversation with high hopes that with the success of this collection, it will be the first of many swimwear collaborations with Lisa to come!
