{Skincare | Deluxe Facial w/Microdermabrasion}

My secret for maintaining youthful and radiant skin (hopefully into old age)? Well, I don't think it's quite a secret anymore, but the answer is Skin Renaissance Medical Spa. I've had 4 basic microdermabrasions done (it is suggested that you do this every 2 weeks) and each time my skin has shown significance improvement in clarity, improving overall health and look of my skin. 

This time around, I received a Deluxe Facial with Microdermabrasion from the new esthetician Elizabeth. My hour-long treatment included:

- A skin analysis, deep clean with Skin Renaissance's signature products (suited for my particular skin type) and detox facial massage with our custom blend of essential oils (Elizabeth's own mixture of ylang ylang and olive oil). 

-A massage to improve circulation and flush toxins. 

-Steaming followed by exfoliation with the DiamondTome Microdermabrasion

-A mask (that set for 10 minutes) and finished with moisturizers and sunscreen

All products used during the facial were chosen according to my individual skin type, and are part of Skin Renaissance's signature prescription strength products (available for purchase). I liked the 'deluxe' aspects of this treatment; the brushing on of cleansers and face mask along with the facial massage was very soothing, and the microdermabrasion left my face feeling squeaky clean. This is a great way to be able to try out Skin Renaissance's skincare products first hand before purchasing.
