Skincare Saturday with Olay Regenerist Serum & Cream
I've never really been into using different creams, lotions, or serums as apart of my skincare regiment. Don't take offense, but partly, I feel like I would be becoming my grandmother too soon; I grew up with her, and every day and night would see her apply cream to her face. I like to keep my regiment simple, and I tend to have semi-oily skin and wanted to stray away smothering my face with creams. But when I picked up Olay's Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream (Fragrance Free) from LuckyFABB, I had to try it out. The rep said it was the newest fragrant-free version of the cream; which is perfect for me since I have allergy problems that pop up now and then (especially when there is a strong smelling fragrance).

The instructions were straight forward and specific. It was simple enough to pump the bottle, then apply the serum to the face in the specified locations, eventually working to the rest of the face.

I especially took a liking to the bottle for the serum. It has a lock mechanism at the top, making it easy to bring along anywhere with me. Pumping the bottle once gives enough serum for one side of the face, so it's nice to have that portion control.

No scent! So no problems!
Cleanliness: 4/4
Because of the precise amount that is pumped from the bottle, you get just enough serum so that it's absorbed into your face, you don't have left over and have to wipe it off.
Effectiveness: 4/4
My face (especially my T-zone) became less oily after using the serum, and my skin's complexion was clearer and more taut. It also helped to hydrate and retain moisture in my face.

Same as the serum, the instructions were straight forward and specific (as to the locations to apply on your face and how to apply)

Although the instructions were easy to follow, I would prefer not to have to place my fingers into the cream. It's much simpler and efficient for me to use the serum where I can pump the bottle instead of having to portion control with the cream pot.

No scent. So no problem.
Cleanliness: 3/4
It's messier for me to use my finger to extract the cream out of the pot, compared to administering it to my finger from a pump bottle.
Effectiveness: 4/4
My skin showed improved hydration and tautness. It was noticeable more clear and less oily.

In conclusion, I would suggest both for someone looking for an anti-aging regiment to refine wrinkles and hydrate skin, but would suggest just the micro-sculpting serum for someone of the younger age group. The serum is not as creamy, easier to apply, and great for someone on the go.
