 {Diggin' into comfort foods in Downtown Long Beach}

My friend Nikki just moved down to Long Beach from LA, and was saying how she wanted to hang out. Well, I so happened to be in Long Beach visiting my friend Ariel (who is also friends with Nikki), so we decided to all go to dinner together along with Nikki's two other friends.

Ariel suggested Beechwood BBQ in downtown LB, and coincidentally, the restaurant was within walking distance of Nikki's condo. Best decision EVER to go here because everyone was starving, and craving really yummy comfort foods. We had to get the Baked Mac & Cheese and Tater Tot Casserole to start off! We then ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, Barbecue Chicken Salad, the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich, and the Banana Bread Pudding for dessert. The last two dishes were our waiter's all-time faves!

It was nice to enjoy each other's company as well as some darn good food! $$ for BBQ, but it's definitely worth it if you want good cookin'! Check out the menu here!
