Casual Outfit Inspired by Halloween and DIY Cute Spider Cupcakes

I'm not really sure what to call this look, but I found this turban-like headband that I fell in love with. Then I found another pair of these 1930s (?) inspired sunnies, for only $3! And I just had to wear both together...haha.

I also attended this "Freaky Fest" Halloween Party that my friend Tobi's family hosted the other night. Her aunt Alana made these amazing spider cupcakes out of pre-made chocolate cupcakes, which turned out scary, yet strangely cute. Scroll down below for instructions on how to make your own Spooktacular Spider Cupcakes! Happy Halloween!

How To Make Spooktacular Spider Cupcakes from (12) Pre-Made Cupcakes

What You Need:

-A dozen(12) pre-made cupcakes from your local grocery store
-1 Bottle of Black Crystal Sprinkles
-1 Bottle of Red Candy Sprinkles in the shape of Red Hots
-1 Tube of Red Decorative Frosting
-2 Marshmallows
-1 Big Pack of Black Licorice
-1 Knife
-1 Pair of Scissors

1. Take 1 cupcake and remove any current decorations/sprinkles, and smooth out the frosting until rounded.
2. After dumping the bottle of crystal sprinkles into a bowl, take the cupcakes and pat the frosting side in the crystal sprinkles, until fully covered.

3. Cut the black licorice into halves. Grab one half and start arranging and putting it into the frosting of the cupcake. Make sure you have 8 licorice halves for the legs of the spider.

4. Grab the tube of red decorative frosting, and squeeze a little bit onto the back of a red candy sprinkle. Then apply onto the frosting. Repeat, and these are the eyes of the spider.

5. Take 1 marshmellow and cut off 2 tiny slivers for the spider's fangs. Apply onto the frosting carefully with the scissors.

Repeat Steps 1-5 for the other cupcakes! And here are your Spooktacular Spider Cupcakes! Enjoy!
