{Harper's 3rd Birthday: Pool Party Edition}
Here is a collection of photos from the celebration of Ariel's dearest daughter, Harper's, 3rd Birthday Pool Party!
Ariel & I prepared for Harper's party a few weeks prior (no procrastination here folks, we were not messin' around)to the event. We knew that Harper wanted butterflies, strawberry frosting, anything pink, and for her friends to come over and swim! We got the food situation squared away by deciding to order pizza, make salad, and serve fruit. Beverages included lemonade with fresh slices of cucumber and lemon, juice boxes for the kids and mimosas for the "big kids". As for the decorations, we made faux-sewn cloth party banners (DIY coming soon!) and purchased balloons the day of the party(they were only $9 for 2 dozen balloons from the wholesale party supply store down the street). We baked "too much chocolate" cupcakes topped with homemade strawberry frosting and butterfly toppers for the guests to eat as the birthday cake because Harper had her own personal birthday cake. Originally, we tried to bake an oversized cupcake with a special mold, but after 2 failed attempts, we had to settle on a MUCH better (looking) large cupcake from the grocery store. We also made chocolate-dipped rice krispies treats (which you can look/read more about here) and blueberry pie for alternative dessert options.
Aside from all of the work that went into putting on this Birthday party, Harper truly had a spectacular time with friends and family (and she received some preeeetty great gifts)!
Have Fun,
