{Rodarte for Black Swan}

I am a SUCKER for tutus. That is probably because I grew up twirling around and performing in them, and I know and appreciate all of the intricate, hard work that goes into making one. So when I found out that Rodarte had designed and made Natalie Portman's tutus in the movie Black Swan, I was in absolute awe. First of all, Rodarte is a fashion powerhouse and anything that results from the sister design team, Kate and Laura Mulleavy; will be gorgeous beyond belief. Second, I think tutus are already gorgeous no matter how sparkly or detailed they are, so having tutus made by Rodarte was heaven sent! And Third, Natalie Portman portrays a beautiful ballerina and having her in Rodarte's tutus was breathtaking! LOVE IT....I'm feeling inspired to take my old tutu old for a twirl.
