Trying Le Pain Quotidien in Santa Monica, CA

I had the most amazing Sunday morning with my friend Trang when we ventured up to Santa Monica last weekend. My new fave store, Brandy Melville was having a garage sale at their 3rd St Promenade location, so being the shopaholic that I am, I had to stop by! Since Trang and arrived in Santa Monica an hour early before the sale, we decided to walk around and find a place to eat. What a fantastic idea because we walked into the most amazing bakery cafe, Le Pain Quotidien

Although there was a little bit of wait, Trang and I didn't mind because it gave us a chance to look at the menu, and really take in the morning, bustling atmosphere of the place. Small wooden tables and one prominent, long communal table set in the center of a brick walled room give it the perfect rustic, European vibe. We were loving every moment of my morning, down to our chamomile mint tea, cappuccino, french toast(with strawberries), and soft boiled egg with assorted breads. We couldn't stop talking about how much we loved the place! Good food, friendly staff, local hangout..what more could you ask for?
